One thing for sure, whether you are holidaying in Italy during the summer months or living there, you will be spoilt for choice in the number of festas, sagras, open air concerts or firework spectacles to visit!

We, here in Todi, have had an array of fantastic events, the Tango Festival in June, International Balloon Grand Prix in July with as many as 45 teams competing from all over the world. A wonderful sight that coloured the skies very early in the mornings for 2 weeks….not only that, this year’s 21st edition of the event held in Todi, saw a balloon take off from the piazza………given the fact that the baloon is as large as the piazza when inflated !! Now, in August, we are amidst outdoor musical concerts under the stars, orchestral, jazz, blues, latino/flamenco and to finish the month and into September, Todi Arts festival. So a feast for one and all

Talking of feasts, naturally food feasts or sagras as they are called, play an important role especially during the balmy summer days and nights. Feasts from steak to wild boar, to melon and strawberry, to wine and pasta to fish and the list goes on. A gastronomic delight.
To finish an evening’s sagra is always music and dancing and followed by fireworks at midnight. Just a perfect day, every day.

FRACTIONAL OWNERSHIP – The time has arrived !
I am really excited to tell you about this smart and astute way of owning your own luxury residence in Italy at a fraction of the cost, no legal fees, purchase taxes,, notary costs or agents fees.  A dream come true for sure, not only that, all hassles and worry over maintenance upkeep, security, gardening and renting out your Italian home from afar are all taken out of the scenario – leaving you and family and friends, time to enjoy your glorious holiday villa with all its amenities and services at your complete disposal and relax and simply enjoy what probably would have been a dream.  The Daily Telegraph also gives fractional ownership the “thumbs up”  and even say, for the price more or less of an annual gym membership, you can have your own deeded luxury property in Italy.  That makes economic sound sense to me!  Here are some beautiful fractional ownerships in Cortona Tuscany and Le Marche..
